Schema School sells a one-time digital product: Lifetime Access to the full curriculum and all future content. Because this is an instantly delivered digital product, our refund policy is designed to be fair while acknowledging the nature of digital goods.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. This policy is consistent with Razorpay's merchant refund guidelines.
1. Our Refund Window
We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions in section 2. If you are not satisfied with Schema School, email us within 7 days of your purchase and we will process a full refund — no questions asked, provided the eligibility conditions are met.
2. Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a refund, all of the following must be true:
- You request the refund within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.
- Your account shows minimal usage — specifically, you have completed fewer than 5 lessons since the purchase. This condition ensures the policy cannot be exploited to obtain and consume the full curriculum before requesting a refund.
- You have not previously received a refund from Schema School.
- Your account has not been terminated for a violation of our Terms of Service.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Email hello@schemaschool.dev with the subject line "Refund request".
- Include the email address on your Schema School account and the Razorpay payment ID (you can find this in your email receipt or on your bank statement).
- We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
- If approved, the refund will be processed via Razorpay back to your original payment method. Razorpay typically completes refunds within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The 7-day window has passed since the purchase.
- You have used the Service substantially (5 or more lessons completed after purchase).
- Your account was terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service.
- You purchased the product more than once by mistake — please contact us before buying again if you are unsure of your access status.
- Technical issues on your end (incompatible browser, network restrictions, etc.) that we cannot reproduce or resolve despite reasonable effort on our part.
5. No Subscription, No Cancellation
Schema School Lifetime Access is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. There is nothing to "cancel" — you will never be charged again after your initial purchase. If you wish to stop using the Service, simply stop using it or delete your account from Settings.
6. Free Features
Certain features of Schema School are free (the landing page, FAQ, legal pages, and any free sample lessons). There is nothing to refund for free features.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email.
